Site Based Student Uniform Policy

 

Parents as we head into the new school year, we would like to remind everyone about the uniform policy here at Rita Cannan as we are seeing many of our students coming to school not in their proper uniform.  Please make sure your child comes to school each day with their uniform on and abiding by our dress code.  We still have uniform shirts for sale in the front office if your child needs one.    

 

 Description of the Uniform

 

 Shirts

 Polo style shirts in navy, gray or black only. Shirts with the Rita Cannan logo can be ordered through the school, plain polo shirts without the logo may be purchased from any location but must be in the approved colors.

 No logos, designs or pictures on any shirt, sweater, or sweatshirt unless it is the approved Rita Cannan logo.

 Undershirts or layering shirts in the winter may be worn. Only solid colored navy, gray, black or white will be allowed for layering. (No visible logos/designs are permitted).

 

Sweatshirts/Sweaters

 Solid colored navy blue or gray sweatshirts or sweaters may be worn inside and outside the classroom, but must be free of logos or pictures/designs, unless the sweater/sweatshirt has the Rita Cannan logo.

 Sweaters/sweatshirts that are a different color, have logos, pictures, and designs are permitted and may be worn outside of the classroom only.

 

Pants/Bottoms

 Pants/bottoms must be plain/ solid color in navy, khaki, or black. No stitching, designs, large logos or prints are permitted on leggings and pants. 

 Permitted pants/bottoms include pants, jeans, leggings, shorts, skirts/skorts, exercise material pants, and denim.
